Opened in 1918 as the Selwyn Theatre. An Italian Renaissance style theatre designed by George Keister. The theatre changed its name to the American Airlines Theatre in 2000, after American Airlines agreed to donate $8.5 million to the Roundabout Company to help cover costs. In exchange for the donate, the Selwyn will be known as the American Airlines theatre for at least ten years.
