Conrad Ricamora, James Scully join 'Oh, Mary!' cast
They join comedian Cole Escola, who wrote and stars in this Off-Broadway dark comedy about the life of Mary Todd Lincoln before Abraham Lincoln's assassination.
Additional casting has been set for the Off-Broadway premiere of Oh, Mary!, with six new actors joining the previously announced writer and star Cole Escola. Performances run at the Lucille Lortel Theatre from January 26 to March 24.
Newly announced cast members include How to Get Away With Murder's Conrad Ricamora as Mary's Husband and James Scully as Mary's Teacher. Ricamora most recently starred in Here Lies Love on Broadway, and Scully is known for his screen performances in the Hulu film Fire Island (opposite Ricamora) and the Netflix series You.
The Oh, Mary! cast also includes Bianca Leigh as Mary’s Chaperone, Tony Macht as Mary’s Husband’s Assistant, Hannah Solow, and Peter Smith.
Additionally, the creative team includes director Sam Pinkleton, set designer dots, lighting designer Cha See, costume designer Holly Pierson, wig designer Leah Loukas, props supervisor Addison Heeren, sound designer and composer Daniel Kluger, sound designer Drew Levy, and arranger David Dabbon.
In Oh, Mary!, Escola stars as Mary Todd Lincoln, giving audiences a darkly comedic look at the life of the former first lady. Repressed desire, alcoholism, and more erupt in the weeks leading up to Abraham Lincoln's assassination.
