Broadway Theaters to remain closed through June 7, 2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic

The current Broadway lockdown continues...

The Broadway League has confirmed an extension for the current lockdown for all Broadway theaters. Originally scheduled through April 12, all Broadway productions will now remain closed through June 7, 2020, in accordance with guidelines from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and under the continued direction of New York's Governor Andrew Cuomo.

President of the Broadway League, Charlotte St. Martin commented: "Our top priority continues to be the health and well-being of Broadway theatregoers and the thousands of people who work in the theatre industry every day, including actors, musicians, stagehands, ushers, and many other dedicated professionals. Broadway will always be at the very heart of the Big Apple, and we join with artists, theatre professionals, and fans in looking forward to the time when we can once again experience live theatre together."
