Get ready to be in the room where it happens. Hamilton will resume performances at the Richard Rodgers Theatre this fall. Performances will begin on Sept. 14. Find out more about Hamilton tickets on Broadway here.

The show was originally rumored to return to Broadway on July 4, and although full capacity performances are allowed to resume in New York from May 19 according to Governor Andrew Cuomo's ruling, Broadway shows need time to rehearse and prepare for a collective reopening in September.

The multi-Tony-winning blockbuster phenomenon has been delighting audiences across the globe since it opened in 2015. Written by Lin-Manuel Miranda and inspired by the biography of Alexander Hamilton by Ron Chernow, the musical tells the story of the founding father and first Secretary of the Treasury using contemporary music and language featuring a diverse cast representing the world today.

Hamilton is directed by Thomas Kail and choreographed by Andy Blankenbuehler, with set design by David Korins, costumes by Paul Tazewell, and music direction and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire.

Casting will be announced at a later date, and the cast last featured Miguel Cervantes (as Alexander Hamilton), Daniel Breaker (as Aaron Burr), Krystal Joy Brown (as Eliza Hamilton), Mandy Gonzalez (as Angelica Schuyler), James Monroe Iglehart (as Marques de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson), Tamar Greene (as George Washington), Daniel Yearwood (as John Laurens/Phillip Hamilton), Fergie L. Philippe (as James Madison/Hercules Mulligan), Aubin Wise (as Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds), and Euan Morton (as King George).

Hamilton is at the Richard Rodgers Theatre from Sept. 14.
