Is There Still Sex in the City? is a play in which Bushnell recounts personal stories of love, relationships, and plenty of other aspects of her life, not least of all her New York Observer column that became the smash hit Sex and the City. It's been more than 20 years since Bushnell wrote that column, and in some ways, she's still like Carrie Bradshaw, living a life filled with designer shoes and fancy cocktails. However, when she got divorced at age 50, she found herself in a new chapter of her life.

Now out of Manhattan and in the (equally fabulous) Hamptons, she's had to learn the ins and outs of the modern dating scene and how to navigate them as a middle-aged woman. She shares her insights into this experience in Is There Still Sex in the City? through stories about fashion, sex, love, and more featuring her and her friends.

The one-woman show first premiered at Pennsylvania's Bucks County Playhouse in summer 2021 and Is There Still Sex in the City? Off-Broadway is now premiering in New York, the city that started it all. The show takes its title from Bushnell's 2019 novel of the same name, in which a fictional group of four friends go through the same dating and New York lifestyle experiences that Bushnell did.
