About The Great Divide

The Great Divide is a one person show about love. Love newborn. Love lost. Love smashed to pieces. And then the moment when all of that is the past, and only what’s to come is important.

A dance party. Game of Thrones. A dress that might be a tad too short. A New Year’s Eve party where you don’t know anyone except your crush. A look, a laugh. All of it matters. All of it can be molded into your “Meet Cute” love story, or your moment of utter rejection. Which will it be for you?

Writer/Performer Amy Crossman stars in this darkly funny and heart-rending new play, with direction by Scott Ebersold.

See it if you've 80 mins to spare (you do!) to laugh, think, cry. Amy writes/performs moving show abt love/loss. Brutally honest abt her flaws/wishes.

Don’t see it if you want a perfect-paced piece. A bit c. be trimmed. Still, a truly lovely solo show. It was at HERE for 2.5 weeks. Glad I caught it!

Brilliant Acting, Contrived Ending, Very Effective Staging

See it if you want to see a marvelous actress display a wide range of skills. She is so real you feel as if there is no fourth wall.

Don’t see it if you're a pain-in-the ass like me and want an ending as well-written and convincing as the first 80% of the show.
