The unique show plays at downtown’s Conwell Tower, which is actually the 59-story granite-and-limestone-sheathed City-Bank Farmers Trust Company Building at 20 Exchange Place. Designed by the architectural firm of Cross & Cross and built from 1930 to 1931, the building-within-a-building honors J.G. Conwell, who was one of the bank Life And Trust's most influential CEOs and chairmen.

Needless to say, much of the play is shrouded in mystery and creates a world of its own. As with Emursive’s celebrated immersive production Sleep No More, audiences here can expect serpentine paths and dynamic performances as they wander through this enormous bank and follow characters through their boom and bust of business.

In the fictional world of the play, Life and Trust is a highly influential bank that audiences get to explore. Get transported to an opulent world: you’ll see lavishly decorated halls, marble floors, gilded ceilings, and large windows with plush emerald green curtains. Each floor is meticulously designed to reflect J. G.
