Drummer, producer, DJ, filmmaker, journalist, and actor Questlove talks about his perspective on the first half-century of hip-hop and its meteoric rise and unexpected force on culture. As one of the co-founders of hip-hop’s defining acts (The Roots), Questlove is the genre’s unofficial in-house historian.
