Jeremy Jordan to return to 'Little Shop of Horrors' off Broadway
The Tony Award nominee first played Seymour in the Westside Theatre revival in 2021, and he will now succeed Tony winner Matt Doyle in the role this July.
Look who's back on Skid Row! Jeremy Jordan will return to Little Shop of Horrors off Broadway this summer, playing a limited eight-week engagement from July 25 through September 17 at the Westside Theatre.
Jordan is best known for his Tony and Grammy Award-nominated performance as Jack Kelly in Newsies on Broadway, his title role in Bonnie & Clyde on Broadway, and onscreen performances in Supergirl, The Last Five Years, and Spinning Gold. He also previously played Seymour in Little Shop at the Westside in 2021.
He will succeed Tony Award winner Matt Doyle in the role; Doyle plays his final performance on July 16. In Little Shop of Horrors, flower shop worker Seymour finds love, fame, and fortune after coming across an unusual plant — but at the cost of his, and others', flesh and blood as the plant comes alive. Alan Menken and Howard Ashmann wrote the acclaimed horror comedy musical, and Michael Mayer directs.
