Roundabout Theatre Company's production of the world-premiere play by Bess Wohl begins performances later this month for a limited run through March.
Roundabout Theatre Company has set the complete cast for its production of Liberation off Broadway, a world-premiere play running from January 31 to March 30 at the Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre. Opening night is February 20.
The Liberation cast includes Betsy Aidem as Margie, Audrey Corsa as Dora, Kayla Davion as Joanne, Susannah Flood as Lizzie, Kristolyn Lloyd as Celeste, Irene Sofia Lucio as Isidora, Charlie Thurston as Bill, and Adina Verson as Susan.
Additionally, the creative team includes set designer David Zinn, costume designer Qween Jean, lighting designer Cha See, and sound designer Palmer Hefferan.
Tony Award nominee Whitney White directs Bess Wohl's generation-spanning play. In 1970 Ohio, a woman named Lizzie gathers her friends for a chat that turns into a discussion of how to change their lives and the world. Fifty years later, Lizzie's daughter finds herself asking the same questions her mother once did, looking to the past for answers.
