They're roaring onto Broadway! Linedy Genao and Austin Colby will join the cast of The Great Gatsby on Broadway at the Broadway Theatre this spring.

Genao is known for playing the title role in Bad Cinderella on Broadway in 2023, while Colby made his Broadway debut in the ensemble of The Great Gatsby in 2024. They will now step into the principal roles of Myrtle Wilson and Tom Buchanan, respectively.

They will replace original cast members Sara Chase and John Zdrojeski, who play their final performances March 30 alongside Noah J. Ricketts as Nick Carraway. Replacement casting for the role of Nick has yet to be announced.

Current and continuing Great Gatsby cast members include Ryan McCartan as Jay Gatsby, Sarah Hyland as Daisy Buchanan, Samantha Pauly as Jordan Baker, Charlie Pollock as George Wilson, and Terrence Mann as Wolfsheim.

Adapted from F. Scott Fitzgerald's landmark novel from the 1920s, The Great Gatsby follows enigmatic millionaire Jay Gatsby and his obsessive, doomed quest to win back the heart of his former flame, the married socialite Daisy Buchanan.

The musical won the 2024 Tony Award for Best Costume Design, and its Broadway run currently coincides with the 100th anniversary of the publication of Fitzgerald's novel.
