Molly Osborne has joined the cast of Othello on Broadway, starring opposite the previously announced Denzel Washington and Jake Gyllenhaal. The play will begin performances in spring 2025, with exact dates and a theatre to be announced.

Osborne is an English theatre actress known for her work in London's West End. She made her debut in an Olivier Award-winning revival of Fiddler on the Roof and has since starred in the world-premiere musical adaptation of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and the play Indecent, by Pulitzer Prize winner Paula Vogel.

She now makes her Broadway debut as Desdemona in Othello, with Washington playing the title role and Gyllenhaal as Iago. Further casting has yet to be announced.

Tony Award winner Kenny Leon directs a new production of Shakespeare's classic tragedy, in which the jealous Iago will stop at nothing to bring down the successful war commander Othello and his wife, Desdemona. Othello will play a strictly limited 15-week run.
