They're going down to Skid Row! Nicholas Christopher and Sherie Rene Scott will star in Little Shop of Horrors off Broadway at the Westside Theatre beginning on October 22.

Christopher is best known for starring as Pirelli and the Sweeney Todd alternate in the Tony Award-winning 2023 Broadway revival of Sweeney Todd, and as Jelly Roll Morton in New York City Center's Encores! revival of Jelly's Last Jam off Broadway earlier this year.

Veteran stage star Scott is best known for her Tony Award-nominated performances in the Broadway musicals Everyday Rapture, which she also co-created, and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Her other best-known New York theatre credits include Aida, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, and The Little Mermaid on Broadway and The Last Five Years off Broadway.

Now, the actors will replace current stars Andrew Barth Feldman and Sarah Hyland, who play their final performances as Seymour and Audrey, respectively, on September 29.

In the interim, the lead roles will be played by a rotating cast: Jeff Sears and Camryn Hampton (October 1-6), Johnny Newcomb and Hampton (October 8-13), Teddy Yudain and Melissa Victor (October 15-17), and Weston Chandler Long and Victor (October 18-20).

The current Little Shop of Horrors cast also includes James Carpinello as Orin, Stephen DeRosa as Mr. Mushnik, Major Attaway as The Voice of Audrey II, Tiffany Renee Thompson as Ronnette, and Morgan Ashley Bryant as Crystal.

Adapted by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman from the cult-classic horror comedy film, Little Shop of Horrors follows meek flower shop worker Seymour, who discovers a talking, flesh-eating plant that promises him love and fame in return for fresh blood.

The critically acclaimed production has played off Broadway since 2019 under the direction of Michael Mayer.
