Job is moving headquarters! Following two critically acclaimed Off-Broadway runs between 2023-24, the psychological thriller play Job by Max Wolf Friedlich will play a limited Broadway engagement. Performances run from July 15 to September 29, and opening night is July 30 at the Hayes Theater.

Succession stars Peter Friedman and Sydney Lemmon, who starred in Job off Broadway, will return to their roles. Lemmon plays Jane, who is sent to therapist Loyd (Friedman) after suffering a mental break at work. Their session will determine whether she can return to her job — and their conversation unearths disturbing truths about her work and about each other.

Job premiered at the SoHo Playhouse in September 2023, and it played an encore Off-Broadway engagement at the Connelly Theater from January to March 2024. The New York Times named the play a Critic’s Pick, and numerous outlets praised Friedman and Lemmon’s performances.

Aside from Succession, Friedman has previously appeared on screen in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and in more than 30 Broadway and Off-Broadway shows. Lemmon led the TV show Helstrom and also appeared in the movies Tár and Firestarter.

Job's creative team includes director Michael Herwitz, scenic designer Scott Penner, costume designer Michelle J. Li, lighting designer Mextly Couzin, and sound designer Cody Spencer.
