Lincoln Center Theater has announced the full cast for its revival of The Skin of Our Teeth on Broadway. Performances of Thornton Wilder's Pulitzer Prize-winning 1942 play begin on April 1 ahead of an April 25 opening.
Tony nominee Priscilla Lopez, known for originating the role of Diane Morales in A Chorus Line, will play the role of the Fortune Teller, alongside James Vincent Meredith as Mr. Antrobus, Roslyn Ruff as Mrs. Antrobus, and Paige Gilbert as Gladys Antrobus, Julian Robertson as Henry Antrobus, and Gabby Beans as the family's maid, Sabina.
The cast also includes Eunice Bae, Terry Bell, Ritisha Chakraborty, William DeMeritt, Jeremy Gallardo, Avery Glymph, Donnetta Lavinia Grays, Noor Hamdi, Tyrone Mitchell Henderson, Maya Loren Jackson, Anaseini Katoa, Cameron Keitt, Megan Lomax, Kathiamarice Lopez, Lindsay Rico, Julian Rozzell, Jr., Julyana Soelistyo, Phillip Taratula, Beau Thom, Alphonso Walker, Jr., Adrienne Wells, and Sarin Monae West.
The Skin of Our Teeth follows the Antrobus family as they live through an Ice Age, a war, and a biblical flood in the fictional town of Excelsior, New Jersey. The comedy/drama play was groundbreaking in its time for defying multiple norms of onstage storytelling, and Wilder won the 1943 Pulitzer Prize for Drama for his work. LCT's production at the Vivian Beaumont Theater marks the third Broadway revival of The Skin of Our Teeth.
Lileana Blain-Cruz helms the revival in her Broadway and LCT directorial debut.
