She’s got the green light! Sarah Hyland will join the cast of The Great Gatsby on Broadway in January, beginning performances February 10 at the Broadway Theatre.

Hyland is best known for her role as Haley Dunphy on the 22-time Emmy Award-winning ABC sitcom Modern Family and for hosting the reality show Love Island USA. Earlier this year, she starred as Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors off Broadway, marking her first return to New York theatre in over a decade since appearing as a young Jackie Bouvier in Broadway's Grey Gardens.

In The Great Gatsby, she will star as Daisy Buchanan, replacing original cast member Eva Noblezada. As previously announced, Noblezada plays her final performance on January 30.

Hyland’s co-stars will include Ryan McCartan as Jay Gatsby, Noah J. Ricketts as Nick Carraway, Samantha Pauly as Jordan Baker, Sara Chase as Myrtle Wilson, John Zdrojeski as Tom Buchanan, Charlie Pollock as George Wilson, and Terrence Mann as Wolfsheim.

The Great Gatsby, the first Broadway musical adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel, follows mysterious millionaire Jay Gatsby’s obsession with rekindling a romance with the now-married Daisy, his former flame. The show features a book by Kait Kerrigan, songs by Jason Howland and Nathan Tysen, direction by Marc Bruni, and choreography by Dominique Kelley.
