Take one last bite: Teeth will close off Broadway on January 5 after 90 total performances at New World Stages.

Adapted from the 2007 film written and directed by Mitchell Lichtenstein, the Teeth musical follows Dawn, a religious teenager with a bloody secret: When men violate her body, her body literally bites back.

The film was adapted for the stage by Pulitzer Prize & Tony Award winner Michael R. Jackson (book and lyrics) and Anna K. Jacobs (book and music). Sarah Benson directs, and Raja Feather Kelly choreographs. Before its New World Stages run, the show premiered, with the same creative team, at Playwrights Horizons this past spring.

The cast includes Alyse Alan Louis as Dawn O’Keefe, Andy Karl as Pastor Bill O'Keefe, Will Connolly as Brad O’Keefe, Jason Gotay as Tobey, Jared Loftin as Ryan, Courtney Bassett, Jenna Rose Husli, Micaela Lamas, Madison McBride, Sydney Parra, and Wren Rivera.
