Order up! A hot and fresh new play by Meghan Kennedy is kicking off Roundabout Theatre Company's Off-Broadway season: The Counter. Set at a diner upstate, the show follows the ordinary relationship between a regular customer (ER's Anthony Edwards) and the waitress (Susannah Flood) who always serves him — and how that relationship explodes when he asks for a shocking favor.

Before or after a performance at the Laura Pels Theatre — located right in the Theatre District — you'll probably be looking for someplace to eat, and who better to ask for recommendations than people in a show about a restaurant? Hear the cast and creatives share some of their favorite NYC eateries in the video below, and scroll down to see the locations of all their picks on a map.
