'The Little Prince' to offer in-person Broadway rush tickets
Performances begin March 29.
You don't have to travel the galaxy for Broadway tickets. The Little Prince, the stage adaptation of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's novella, will offer rush tickets for its run at the Broadway Theatre. Performances begin March 29 ahead of an April 11 opening, and the limited run ends August 14.
A limited number of $35 rush tickets will be available at the box office each day for that afternoon or evening's performance. Tickets can be purchased on a first-come, first-served basis beginning when the box office opens at 10 a.m. each day except Sunday, when it opens at 11 a.m. or noon depending on whether there is a Sunday matinee scheduled. Each person can purchase up to two rush tickets for a performance, and rush seats may be partial view.
The Little Prince begins when an aviator crash-lands in a desert and comes upon the titular character, a young boy who has left his own planet to go on an intergalactic journey. He regales the aviator with stories of his travels, the adults he's met, and what he's learned about the nature of humanity, and the prince and the aviator bond over their shared sense of childlike wonder. The story of The Little Prince comes to life on stage with acrobatics, video projections, music, and dance.
