'Titanique' extends off Broadway through June 2024
This is the fifth extension for the award-winning parody musical, which premiered off Broadway in June 2022 and currently plays the Daryl Roth Theatre.
Titanique goes on and on! The Off-Broadway musical will extend at the Daryl Roth Theatre once again, with performances now running through June 16.
Titanique, co-created by Constantine Rousouli, Marla Mindelle, and director Tye Blue, is a parody of James Cameron's Oscar-winning Titanic film. Celine Dion, who sang the film's iconic theme song "My Heart Will Go On," narrates a wacky, alternate version of Jack and Rose's romance, and the musical is set to all her greatest hit songs.
The musical premiered at the Asylum Theatre in June 2022 and has since received four previous extensions, critical acclaim, and the Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Musical.
New York Theatre Guide's four-star Titanique review reads, "Expect a titanic amount of pure joy... The cast and creators' enthusiasm is infectious, and if you just let it wash over you, you'll have a boatload of fun."
The current cast features Jackie Burns as Céline Dion, Lindsay Heather Pearce as Rose, Michael Williams as Jack, Willam as Victor Garber, Drew Droege as Ruth, Brandon Contreras as Cal, Anne Fraser Thomas as The Unsinkable Molly Brown, and Marcus Antonio as The Iceberg.
