Vinny DePonto's 'Mindplay' to open off Broadway this winter

The Drama Desk Award-nominated mentalist brings his critically acclaimed show to New York for a limited time following runs in L.A., D.C., and Boston.

Keep this in mind! Mentalist Vinny DePonto's show Mindplay will play a limited run off Broadway, running at the Greenwich House Theater from December 15, 2024 to April 20, 2025. Opening night is January 13.

DePonto's last Off-Broadway show, Charlatan, received a Drama Desk Award nomination for Unique Theatrical Experience. In the interactive Mindplay, DePonto reads audience's minds while revealing the workings of his own, blurring the lines between illusion and reality with various tricks.

Prior to the New York run, DePonto performed the show in Los Angeles and D.C., and will do so in Boston in early December. A review in the The Washington Post reads that DePonto “brings ‘how did he do that?’ wonder to delight all."

Josh Koenigsberg co-wrote Mindplay with DePonto, and Andrew Neisler directs.
