'Wolf Play' sets full Off-Broadway cast at MCC Theater
Three cast members from the show's last Off-Broadway run return.
Wolf Play found its pack! The upcoming Off-Broadway production at MCC Theater has set its full cast. The limited engagement runs from January 26 to March 5, with opening night on February 14.
Wolf Play made its New York debut with Soho Rep earlier this year, and three cast members from that production return. They include Esco Jouléy as Ash, Nicole Villamil as Robin, and Mitchell Winter as Wolf.
The two new cast members are Christopher Bannow as Peter and Brian Quijada as Ryan.
The show also reunites the full Soho Rep design team. Wolf Play features scenic design by You-Shin Chen, costume design by Enver Chakartash, lighting design by Barbara Samuels, sound design by Kate Marvin, puppet design by Amanda Villalobos, and properties by Patricia Marjorie.
Wolf Play tells the story of a young boy whose adoptive parents give him away to new guardians via a Yahoo message board. Tensions rise between his families old and new, and the boy is just searching for a steady home. Hansol Jung's play, which received critical acclaim at Soho Rep, is how people choose, unchoose, find, and break families.
