'Heathers The Musical' completes Off-Broadway cast

More casting has been set for Heathers The Musical off Broadway at New World Stages. The limited-run revival of the hit musical runs from June 22 to September 28 only.
Joining the previously announced Lorna Courtney as Veronica Sawyer and Casey Likes as J.D. are McKenzie Kurtz (Wicked, The Heart of Rock and Roll) as Heather Chandler, Olivia Hardy (Kimberly Akimbo) as Heather Duke, Elizabeth Teeter (Beetlejuice) as Heather McNamara, Tony Award nominee Kerry Butler as Ms. Fleming/Veronica’s Mom, Erin Morton as Martha Dunnstock, Xavier McKinnon as Ram Sweeney, Cade Ostermeyer as Kurt Kelly, Ben Davis as Ram’s Dad/Big Bud Dean/Coach Ripper, Cameron Loyal as Kurt’s Dad/Veronica’s Dad/Principal Gowan.
The complete ensemble also features Sara Al-Bazali as the standby for Veronica Sawyer and Heather Chandler, James Caleb Grice as Beleaguered Geek/Officer McCord, Devin Lewis as Hipster Dork, Kiara Michelle Lee as Young Republicanette, Brian Martin as Preppy Stud/Officer Milner, Syd Sider as Stoner Chick, Cecilia Trippiedi as New Wave Party Girl, and swings Emma Benson, Louis Griffin, and Lav Raman.
Heathers The Musical is adapted from the cult classic Winona Ryder film. The plot follows teenage outsider Veronica, who befriends dangerous fellow outsider J.D. just as she finally joins the popular Heathers clique, sending her high school career in a deadly direction.
Heathers The Musical first ran at New World Stages in 2014. The show features a book, music, and lyrics by Kevin Murphy and Laurence O’Keefe, and this revival is directed by Andy Fickman.
The complete creative team also includes choreographer Gary Lloyd, with additional choreography by Stephanie Klemons; set and costume designer David Shields, lighting designer Ben Cracknell, sound designer Dan Samson, music supervisor Will Joy, music director Mona Seyed-Bolorforosh, associate director Taylor Haven Holt, fight director Lisa Connell, and intimacy coordinator Rebecca Reaney.
