TodayTix to host Broadway Speakeasy events beginning in May
Broadway actors will perform at the Paradise Club in Times Square.
Roaring Twenties, meet 2020s! The Paradise Club in the Times Square EDITION Hotel will host a new immersive concert series, Broadway Speakeasy, this summer, presented by TodayTix.
Broadway Speakeasy concerts will take place on Fridays and Saturdays beginning May 13. A live jazz band will back a Broadway star singing reimagined covers of classic jazz hits from singers like Ella Fitzgerald, Dean Martin, Etta James, Bing Crosby, and Frank Sinatra.
Headliners have been set for the month of May, with a different singer appearing each weekend. Dez Duron of The Voice will headline May 13 and 14, Jessica Vosk of Wicked on May 20 and 21, and Max von Essen of Anastasia on May 27 and 28.
Doors open at 7 p.m. for each 8 p.m. event. The Broadway Speakeasy concerts will also have a curated menu of food and drinks on offer from the Michelin-starred chef John Fraser.
"It's time that we return glamor to New York and create new nostalgia for a new era. Paradise Club is one of the finest performance spaces this city has to offer. The fact that it is tucked away in the heart of New York City and just steps from Broadway makes it the ultimate destination to unite the best of Broadway with icons of jazz," said Tony Marion, the Tony Award-nominated executive producer of Broadway Speakeasy.
Broadway Speakeasy tickets are sold exclusively on TodayTix. VIP booths, cabaret tables, and bar seating are all available at various ticket price points.
