Jes Tom, a fast-rising comedian named one of Vulture’s Comedians You Should and Will Know, presents their solo show Less Lonely off Broadway for six weeks only. Get Jes Tom: Less Lonely tickets on New York Theatre Guide.
Less Lonely is a comedy show about oblivion, death, and the end of the world — or more specifically, navigating love, sex, and gender transition amid all those things in order to live authentically. Less Lonely returns to New York after a prior Off-Broadway run at the Cherry Lane Theatre and multiple performances across America.
Tom is a non-binary actor, writer, and comic known for their work as a story editor on the HBO show Our Flag Means Death, an actor in projects like Hulu's Crush and their own Netflix-produced digital series Dear Jes, and a writer for the Audible/Broadway Video series Hot White Heist, produced by Alan Cumming.
For Less Lonely in New York, they team up with Oscar-nominated actor Elliot Page, who presents the show. Page is known for his performances on screen in Juno, The Umbrella Academy, and more.
Please be advised that Elliot Page does not appear on stage in Less Lonely.
Also on the team is transgender director Em Weinstein, known for directing four episodes of The L Word: Generation Q, writing on Amazon's A League of Their Own TV series, and creating the short film In France Michelle is a Man's Name, which won two Academy Award Qualifying Grand Jury Prizes for Best Narrative Short.
