Lupita Nyong'o

Lupita Nyong'o stars as Viola in the Shakespeare in the Park production of Twelfth Night at the Delacorte Theater from August 7 to September 14, 2025.

Nyong'o made her Broadway debut and earned a Best Actress Tony Award nomination for 2016's Eclipsed after starring in the same play off Broadway the previous year. For her Off-Broadway performance, she won Obie and Theatre World Awards and was nominated for Outer Critics Circle and AUDELCO Awards.

The actress is best known for her performances in the films 12 Years a Slave (Academy Award), Us, Black Panther, A Quiet Place: Day One, and The Wild Robot. Her accolades also include an Emmy Award, a Golden Globe, and a Screen Actors Guild Award.
