Bedbugs!!! extends its run to 2 Nov at Arclight Theatre
Producers of off-Broadway's sci-fi musical comedy Bedbugs!!! It's a Musical have announced that the show has extended its limited engagement by one week and is now booking through to 2 November 2014.
The show officially opened at the Arclight Theatre on 14 September 2014, following previews from 9 September.
Bedbugs!!! It's a Musical features music by Paul Leschen, with book and Lyrics by Fred Sauter. It is directed and choreographed by Robert Bartley.
Synopsis: "In this girl-meets-bug-sci-fi-rock-musical-comedy, Carly, an exterminator, is hell-bent on avenging her mother's bedbug related death. In an effort to permanently rid the city of its infestation, she accidentally mutates the pests into blood-sucking, heavy metal rock gods."
The cast of Bedbugs!!! It's a Musical includes Grace McLean (Carly), Brian Charles Rooney (Dionne), Chris Hall (Cimex), Danny Bolero (Dexter/Menachem/Bedbug), Tracey Conyer Lee (Belinda/Consuela/Bedbug), Nicholas Park (Burt), Barry Shafrin (Mason/Bedbug), and Gretchen Wylder (Mother/Joan/Bedbug).
The creative team features scenic design by Adam Demerath, lighting by Kirk Fitzgerald, sound design by Ed Chapman and costumes by Philip Heckman.
