Billy Crudup, Lily Rabe, more to star in 'Ghosts' off Broadway

The new adaptation of Henrik Ibsen's classic drama, presented by Lincoln Center Theater, will have a limited run at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater this spring.

Lincoln Center Theater has announced a starry cast for its upcoming production of Ghosts, beginning performances at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater on February 13 ahead of a March 10 opening.

The complete Ghosts cast includes Ella Beatty (Appropriate) as Regina, Emmy Award winner and Tony Award nominee Billy Crudup (The Morning Show) as Pastor Manders, Levon Hawke (The Crowded Room) as Oswald, Hamish Linklater (The New Adventures of Old Christine) as Engstrand, and Tony nominee Lily Rabe (American Horror Story) as Helena Alving.

The show will also feature direction by Tony winner Jack O'Brien, sets by John Lee Beatty, costumes by Jess Goldstein, lighting by Japhy Weideman, sound by Mark Bennett and Scott Lehrer, and original music by Bennett.

Newly adapted by Mark O'Rowe for this revival, Henrik Ibsen's Ghosts follows the fallout from the return of a woman's son, who brings back a terrifying secret after spending several years abroad.
