Bunty Berman Presents: cast announced

The New Group have announced the full cast for their world premiere production of the musical Bunty Berman Presents, book and lyrics by Ayub Khan Din, score by Ayub Khan Din and Paul Bogaev.

Bunty Berman Presents, opens at the Theatre Row's Acorn Theater on 09 May 2013, following previews from 10 Apr 2013, and closes on 01 Jun 2013.

Diretced by Scott Elliott, the complete cast for Bunty Berman Presents, features Erick Avari as 'Bunty Berman,' Raja Burrows, Nick Choksi, Katie Chung, Sevan Greene, Andrew Guilarte, Shoba Narayanan, Lyn Philistine, Debargo Sanyal, Pallavi Sastry, Gayton Scott, Lipica Shah, Alok Tewari and Sorab Wadia.

Bunty Berman Presents is a musical comedy set in a failing 1950s Bollywood studio, with songs in the style of Hollywood's Golden Age, Movie producer Bunty Berman's studio has long been the toast of Bombay, but now Raj, his biggest star and best friend, is beginning to lose his lustre. When their new movie bombs, Bunty must navigate through divas, mobsters and ambitious tea-boys to keep his studio alive.
