'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child' sets new Broadway cast
The six-time Tony Award-winning Best Play, now in its fifth year at the Lyric Theatre, continues the story of Harry Potter and the next generation of wizards.
Hogwarts has some new faces in its halls! New cast members have joined Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway at the Lyric Theatre.
New principal cast members include Cara Ricketts as Hermione Granger, Daniel Fredrick as Ron Weasley, and Jane Bruce as Delphi Diggory. They join continuing cast members Steve Haggard as Harry Potter, Angela Reed as Ginny Potter, Joel Meyers as Albus Potter, Maya Jerome Thomas as Rose Granger-Weasley. Aaron Bartz as Draco Malfoy, and Erik Christopher Peterson as Scorpius Malfoy.
New ensemble members include John Alix, William Bednar, Eric Cheung, Jamyl Dobson, Eleasha Gamble, Kaléa Leverette, Kira Player, Gabrielle Reid, and Emily Schultheis.
They join continuing actors Chadd Alexander, Quinn Blades, Darby Breedlove, Ted Deasy, Irving Dyson Jr., Kira Fath, Gary-Kayi Fletcher, Logan James Hall, Abbi Hawk, Chance Marshaun Hill, Edward James Hyland, Nick Hyland, Jax Jackson, Jack Koenig, Erik Evan Olson, Alexandra Peter, William Rhem Jr., Stephen Spinella, Tom Stephens, and Karen Janes Woditsch.
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is the six-time Tony Award-winning stage sequel to J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. The show follows Harry's son, Albus, and and Draco's son, Scorpius, as they become friends at Hogwarts and go on an adventure through time. But when they mess with the past, Harry, Hermione, Ron, and Draco must step in to save the Wizarding World once more.
