Here We Are, co-written by David Ives (book) and Stephen Sondheim (music and lyrics), is based on The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie and The Exterminating Angel by pioneering filmmaker Luis Buñuel. The musical follows a group of well-off friends whose dinner party plans keep getting derailed.
