Outer Critics Circle Awards 2017 - And the Winners are...

The winners of The 67th Annual Outer Critics Circle Awards have now been officially announced, with the awards ceremony to take place on May 25, 2017 at Sardi's.

The Broadway premiere of Come From Away and the Bette Midler-led Broadway revival of Hello, Dolly! are the big winners, managing to pick up 5 wins each.

The Broadway productions of Dear Evan Hansen, In Transit, Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812 and Significant Other were not eligible for nominations this year, as they had previously been considered during their off-Broadway engagements. It should also be noted that Glenn Close was not eligible for nomination because she won the Outstanding Actress Award in a Musical for her original performance in Sunset Boulevard. In addition, due to OCC's nomination deadline, the producers of Shuffle Along asked to be considered with this season's entries.
