‘Six’ perform at Times Square as part of ‘Visit London’ initiative
See Broadway shows in the West End this summer and beyond.
As part of a campaign to encourage American theatregoers to visit London, Six performed at Times Square. The London takeover at Times Square saw Six take to the stage as a way to promote London's West End to Broadway audiences.
Six is one of many Broadway shows which began in the West End. Currently, there are five Broadway shows which began in the West End: Company, Girl from the North Country, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and Tina: The Tina Turner Musical.
Or, if you're looking for the next Broadway hit, keep your eyes peeled on West End premieres. The Kite Runner will play a summer engagement at the Hayes Theater with performances from July 6 - October 30. After London performances, & Juliet makes its North American premiere in Toronto, ahead of eying up a potential Broadway run. The Olivier-winning revival of Death of a Salesman will also open on Broadway in fall 2022. Find out more about Death of a Salesman.
There's plenty of Broadway shows to see in the West End too, so if you want to see shows which have closed on Broadway once more, you can visit London's West End. Check out the top Broadway shows in London's West End.
The Let's Do London campaign shines a spotlight on London entertainment, including its West End theatres. There's also shows which are only available to watch in London, including the upcoming ABBA Voyage concerts. Book ABBA Voyage tickets in London.
Six performed at Times Square on May 9, the same day as the 2022 Tony Awards nominations. Six received eight Tony nominations, including Best Musical, Best Original Score and Best Direction.
