‘The Play That Goes Wrong’ announces new Off-Broadway cast

Three new company members join The Play That Goes Wrong off Broadway: Chris Lanceley as Chris Bean, Chris French as Jonathan, and Russell Mernagh as Max. Adam Petherbridge will then play Max from August 22.
The full cast includes Brent Bateman as Robert, Adam Petherbridge as Dennis, Ryan Vincent Anderson as Trevor, Ashley N. Hildreth as Annie, Maggie Weston as Sandra, Damien Brett, Laura D'Andre, Ellie MacPherson, and Sid Solomon.
The Play That Goes Wrong follows an amateur dramatics troupe as they prepare to open their latest show. Unfortunately, it's not an easy ride, with cast members and props going walkabout.
The Play That Goes Wrong played two years on Broadway at the Lyceum Theatre, and then transferred to New World Stages in February 2019. The production features set design by Nigel Hook, costume design by Roberto Surace, lighting design by Jeremy Cunningham, and sound design by Beth Lake.
