Wicked: Kyle Dean Massey returns as Fiyero

Kyle Dean Massey returns to the Broadway company of Wicked in the role of 'Fiyero' on 25 Jan 2011, assuming the role from Andy Karl

Massey recently starred in the Broadway production of 'Next to Normal.' His previous credits include Broadway:' Xanadu' (Thalia),' Wicked' (Fiyero u/s). Off-Broadway: 'Altar Boyz' (Matthew). Tours: 'Wicked,' 1st national, '42nd Street,' North America and Japan (Billy Lawlor). Film/TV: "Cupid" (ABC), Sex and the City 2" (HBO Films)."

Massey joins a cast which includes *Mandy Gonzalez as 'Elphaba,' Katie Rose Clarke as 'Glinda,' Kathy Fitzgerald as 'Madame Morrible,' P.J. Benjamin as 'The Wizard,' Jenny Fellner as 'Nessarose,' Etai BenShlomo as 'Boq' and Tom Flynn as 'Dr. Dillamond.'
*Teal Wicks assumes the role of Elphaba from 1 Feb 2011.

The Broadway musical Wicked opened at the Gershwin Theatre on 30 Oct 2003, following previews from 8 Oct 2003 and is currently selling tickets through to 3 Jul 2011.

Long before Dorothy drops in, two other girls meet in the land of Oz. One, born with emerald-green skin, is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. Wicked tells the story of their remarkable odyssey, how these two unlikely friends grow to become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch.

Wicked has music & lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, book by Winnie Holzman, based on the novel by Gregory Maguire.

The musical is directed by Joe Mantello, with choreography by James Lynn Abbott, scene design by Eugene Lee, costumes by Susan Hilferty, lighting by Kenneth Posner and sound by Tony Meola.
