As You Like It: Oliver Platt and Robert Joy
Oliver Platt ("The Big C") and Robert Joy have been cast in the 2012 Shakespeare in the Park's production of Shakesperae's comedy, As You Like It, directed by Daniel Sullivan, playing at the Delacorte Theater from 25 - 30 Jun 2012.
Platt (Touchstone) and Joy (Le Beau, Lord) join the previously announced Lily Rabe (Rosalind), Stephen Spinella (Jaques), David Furr (Orlando), MacIntyre Dixon (Adam), Renee Elise Goldsberry (Celia) and Omar Metwally (Oliver).

The creative team features sets by John Lee Beatty, costumes by Jane Greenwood and sound by Acme Sound Partners.
As You Like It: Rosalind, and her boyfriend Orlando find themselves in the enchanted Forest of Arden, where all the world's a stage, and where sudden infatuation is as confusing as it is beautiful. Along with other 'country copulatives,' they discover that nothing transforms, redeems, or enriches experience quite as powerfully as love.
The Public Theater's Shakespeare in the Park, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary season, each year presents two theatrical productions for free at Central Park's Delacorte Theater. This year the productions are Shakespeare's As You Like it and and Stephen Sondheim's and James Lapine's Tony Award winning musical Into the Woods.

Oliver Platt's Public Theater credits include 'Twelfth Night' at the Delacorte as 'Sir Toby Belch' in 2002. He has been seen on Broadway in 'Guys and Dolls' and 'Shining City'. His select film and television credits include "X-Men: First Class," "Love and Other Drugs," "Frost/Nixon," "The Big C," with Laura Linney, "Bored to Death," "Nip/Tuck" and "The West Wing."
Robert Joy has appeared in several Public Theater productions including 'The Taming of the Shrew,' 'Found a Peanut,' 'Lenny and the Heartbreakers' and 'The Death of Von Richtofen as Witnessed From Earth.' He has appeared on Broadway in 'Abe Lincoln in Illinois,' 'Shimada,' 'The Nerd' and 'Hay Fever.' His Off-Broadway credits include 'June Moon,' 'Man in His Underwear' and 'The Diary of Anne Frank,' among others. His select film and television credits include "The Hills Have Eyes," "Land of the Dead," "Sweet November," "Medium," "Boston Legal," "Alias," "MDs" and a recurring role on "CSI:NY."
