How to get from LaGuardia Airport to Times Square
By public transportation: All public transit trips between LaGuardia and Times Square require the use of a bus and a subway. The quickest route is to take the Q70+ bus to Roosevelt Av & 74 St and transfer to the Jackson Hts - Roosevelt Av subway station from there. Take the F or M train to 42 St - Bryant Park and walk one block west to Seventh Avenue to arrive in Times Square.
Alternatively, take the M60+ bus to Hoyt Av & 31 St, and transfer to the Astoria Blvd subway station. Take the N or W train to 42nd St - Times Square.

How to get from JFK Airport to Times Square
By subway: Take the Jamaica AirTrain, and transfer to the northbound E line at Sutphin Blvd - Archer Av - JFK Airport. Alternatively, take the Howard Beach AirTrain, and transfer to the northbound A line at Howard Beach - JFK Airport. Either way, ride to the 42nd St. - Port Authority stop, located on Eighth Avenue. Walk one block east to Seventh Avenue to arrive in Times Square.
By bus: It is recommended to take the subway as opposed to a bus, as there are no direct bus lines to Times Square and at least two transfers would be required. Additionally, the subway trip is closer to an hour, whereas a bus trip is closer to 90 minutes.

How to get from Newark Airport to Times Square
By train: Take the airport's AirTrain to the NJ Transit platform, and ride north to New York Penn Station. Follow the directions listed in the Penn Station section below from there.
By bus: Take the Newark Airport Express Bus, which goes directly from the airport to Port Authority Bus Terminal adjacent to Times Square. The trip takes approximately an hour.
By car: Head north on the New Jersey Turnpike toward the Lincoln Tunnel, which you'll exit just west of Times Square. From there, find a nearby parking garage to your theatre — discover options here.
Interstate trips on rideshare apps like Uber and Lyft are expensive, so if you don't have a car, it's recommended to take public transit into NYC and call a ride to your destination from there.
How to get from Grand Central Terminal to Times Square
By subway: Take the S shuttle, which exclusively goes back and forth between Grand Central and Times Square. You can also take the 7 train toward 34th Street, getting off at the 42nd St. - Times Square stop.
By bus: Exit Grand Central at 42nd Street, and take the M42 bus from E 42 St & Madison Ave to W 42 St & 7 Ave.

How to get from Penn Station to Times Square
By subway: Take the 1, 2, or 3 line one stop uptown to 42nd Street - Times Square.
By bus: Exit Penn Station at Eighth Avenue and take the M20 bus north from 8 Ave & W 34 St to 8 Ave & W 43 St. From there, walk one block east to Seventh Avenue to arrive in Times Square.

How to get from Port Authority Bus Terminal to Times Square
Port Authority stretches from 40th to 42nd Streets along Eighth Avenue, right next to Times Square! Just walk one block east to Seventh Avenue, and you're in the heart of the Theatre District already and can walk north to explore more.
How to get from the George Washington Bridge Bus Station to Times Square
By subway: Take the A train downtown to 42 St - Port Authority, located on Eighth Avenue. Walk one block east to Seventh Avenue to arrive in Times Square. The trip is approximately 30 minutes.
By bus: Take the M5 bus downtown to Columbus Circle/8 Av. From there, transfer to the downtown M7 or M104 bus, and take it to 7 Av/W 44 St. The trip is approximately 75 minutes.
