'India Awaiting' at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre


Immediate Vision presents the World Premiere of India Awaiting, by Anne Marie Cummings, opening at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre on the 23 Oct 2005, following previews from the 15 Oct and running through to the 6 Nov 2005.

India Awaiting is a modern, cross-cultural love story between a young Indian man, Nikhil, and a Spanish-American woman, Janet, who face the challenges of assimilation, cultural differences and the traditions of their families.

India Awaiting's cast, directed by Tyler Marchant, stars Maulik Pancholy and Margot White. The cast also features Naheed Khan, Robert Ian Mackenzie, Patricia Mauceri and Alok Tewari.

The production has set design by Narelle Sissons, costumes by Alina Amira, lighting by Peter West, sound by Bart Fasbender and original music by Deep Singh.

India Awaiting is presented by Immediate Vision, in association with Sudhir Vaishnav, Madhur Jaffrey and Aroon Shivdasani.
