St. Ann's Warehouse has named five productions in its 2024-25 Off-Broadway season. The institution celebrates its 45th anniversary as well as its 10th year in its current venue in Brooklyn's DUMBO neighborhood, right on the water in Brooklyn Bridge Park.

As previously announced, the season's first show is Burnout Paradise, created by the Australian collective Pony Cam and running from November 12 to December 1. Four performers try to collectively run 20 kilometers on treadmills while completing various tasks — and if they fail, they offer the audience their money back. The show makes its New York premiere after a hit run at the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland.

The next production, a one-night-only event on December 14, is Arturo O’Farrill and the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra's Munodoagua: Celebrating Carla Bley. The concert celebrates influential composer, pianist, organist, and bandleader Carla Bley, who died in 2023. The program includes three Afro-Latin jazz works titled Blue Palestine, Mundoagua, and Día de los Muertos. St. Ann's co-produces this show with Belongó.

From January 4-19 is Amir Reza Koohestani’s Blind Runner. The show follows a man whose wife, a political prisoner in Iran, asks him to help her friend with a dangerous feat. The friend is a blind woman training to run through the Channel Tunnel from France to the U.K., and the feat must end before a train comes along.

Blind Runner is performed in Farsi with English supertitles. It is presented in partnership with Mehr Theatre Group, Waterwell, and Under the Radar.

Next in the season is Safe House, featuring lyrics and direction by Tony Award winner Enda Walsh and music by Anna Mullarkey. The show follows Grace (Kate Gilmore), a young woman trying to make sense of her past, present, and future while living alone in the countryside.

"It’s a brand new form for me. A song cycle. A theatre memory play. A cut up film. A gig," Walsh said in a statement describing Safe House. "It’s its own thing."

Performances run from February 18 to March 2, 2025.

The final production in the St. Ann's Warehouse season is a new version of Anton Chekhov’s The Cherry Orchard, adapted and directed by Benedict Andrews. The show revolves around a aristocratic Russian family who must sell their grand estate to pay their debts. Nina Hoss and Adeel Akhtar reprise their respective roles as Ranevskaya and Lopakhin in this critically acclaimed production from London's Donmar Warehouse.

Performances run from March 26 to April 20, 2025.
