Brian Stokes Mitchell

Brian Stokes Mitchell is a premier leading man on Broadway, having appeared in more than 10 shows since the 1990s. He won the 2000 Tony Award for his performance as Fred Graham/Petruchio in Kiss Me, Kate, and he was also nominated for his performances in Ragtime, King Hedley II, and Man of La Mancha. In 2016, he received the Isabelle Stevenson Award, a Special Tony Award for theatre artists involved in charitable work.

Mitchell was inducted into the Theater Hall of Fame in 2016 and received the Theatre World Awards' John Willis Award for Lifetime Achievement in 2023, among other accolades.
