Corbin Bleu Reivers was born on February 21, 1989 in Brooklyn, New York. He is known for his role as Chad Danforth in Disney's High School Musical movie franchise.

He studied at both the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in New York City and the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, and he took dance classes at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy. From age 2, Bleu appeared in a variety of television commercials and by age 4, he had been signed as a model for Ford Modeling Agency and was featured in a host of magazine fashion spreads and ad campaigns for superstores, toys, and games. He also took jazz and ballet classes from a young age.

Bleu began his career in televison in the late 1990s, landing small roles in series such as ER and Malcolm & Eddie. Around the same time, he was also cast in minor roles in feature films, including Soldier in 1998 and Galaxy Quest and Mystery Men in 1999. He landed his first principal role in the 2004 teen movie Catch That Kid, which was followed by a massive breakthrough role for the young actor. In 2005, he was cast to play Chad Danforth, one of the six leading characters in High School Musical, which premiered on Disney Channel in January 2006 and catapulted him to fame alongside Zac Efron, Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgens, Lucas Grabeel, and Monique Coleman.

The group toured the country in High School Musical: The Concert from 2006 to 2007. The movie sequel, High School Musical 2, premiered on the Disney Channel in August 2007, and a third installment, High School Musical 3: Senior Year was granted a theatrical release for October 2008. During his time with the Disney Channel, Bleu also appeared as Izzy Daniels in Jump In!, which premiered in January 2007, Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide, Hannah Montana, and Flight 29 Down, in which he starred as Nathan in 27 episodes. His most notable post-Disney screen credits include The Beautiful Life: TBL in 2009, The Good Wife in 2010, The Little Engine That Could in 2011, Blue Bloods in 2012, One Life to Live in 2013, Psych in 2014, Castle in 2016, and The Middle and Chicago Med in 2018.

In theatre, Bleu made his Broadway debut in January 2010, assuming the leading role of Usnavi in Lin-Manuel Miranda's In the Heights at the Richard Rodgers Theatre. He played a limited engagement through August 2010. He went on to star as Seaweed in Hairspray at The Hollywood Bowl in August 2011, before returning to Broadway in April 2012 to assume the role of Jesus in Godspell at Circle in the Square for the remainder of its Broadway run. After appearing in regional productions of Family ShotsRomeo and Juliet: Love Is a Battlefield, and The Dodgers, Bleu took on his next Broadway role as an original company member of Roundabout Theatre Company's world premiere of Holiday Inn, The New Irving Berlin Musical. He played the role of Ted Hanover (portrayed famously in the 1942 film by Fred Astaire) and was showered with critical acclaim for his performance and dance skills in particular. The production ran at Studio 54 from September 2016 to January 2017. Other stage credits include the roles of Sky in Mamma Mia! at The Hollywood Bowl (July 2017), Don Lockwood in the MUNY production of Singin' in the Rain in St. Louis, Missouri (June to July 2018), and Billy Crocker in Anything Goes at Washington D.C.'s Arena Stage (November to December 2018).

Bleu returned to Broadway for the Roundabout Theatre Company revival of Kiss Me, Kate! at Studio 54 from February 14 through June 30, 2019. He earned his first Drama Desk Award nomination for his efforts in the dual roles of Bill Calhoun and Lucentio.In 2023, he assumes the role of Seymour in the Off-Broadway revival of Little Shop of Horrors.
