2023 Drama League Award winners announced
The annual awards honor outstanding Broadway and Off-Broadway productions, as well as one distinguished performer in a play or musical from the season.
The 2023 Drama League Awards winners were announced today in a ceremony hosted at the Ziegfeld Ballroom by Emmy Award-winning NY1 theatre reporter Frank DiLella.
The Drama League gives out seven awards each year: four to productions, two for direction, and one to a distinguished performer, an honor an actor can only win once in their lifetime. The awards recognize Broadway and Off-Broadway productions in the same categories.
This year, all seven prizes went to Broadway productions and actors. Two awards went to the revival of Into the Woods, while five other productions got one prize each.
