We've grown accustomed to her face on Broadway and now Tony Award winner Laura Benanti is set to return to the Great White Way to assume the leading role of Eliza Doolittle in Lincoln Center Theater's acclaimed revival of Lerner & Loewe's classic musical My Fair Lady at the Vivian Beaumont Theater from October 23, 2018. Ms. Benanti will play a limited engagement through to February 17, 2019. Original cast member and Tony Award nominee Lauren Ambrose will play her final performance in the role on October 21.
Ms. Benanti commented: "Eliza Doolittle has been my dream role for as long as I can remember, so I couldn't be more excited to join this brilliant company. Working with Bart and getting to be part of this show is a dream come true."

Doolittle), Tony Award winner Diana Rigg (as Mrs. Higgins), Allan Corduner (as Colonel Pickering), Jordan Donica (as Freddy Eynsford-Hill), Linda Mugleston (as Mrs. Pearce), and Clarke Thorell (as Zoltan Karpathy). As previously reported, Oscar nominee & Tony Award winner Rosemary Harris will make a return to the Great White Way from September 11, assuming the role of Mrs. Higgins from current cast member and "Game of Thrones" star Diana Rigg, who earned her fourth Tony Award nomination for her performance.
