Lilli Cooper and Denée Benton to star in ‘Haley at Therapy’ concert

The one-act musical will premiere on February 8.

A brand new musical, Haley at Therapy will premiere on February 8, raising money for Broadway Cares. Tony Award nominees Lilli Cooper and Denée Benton will star in the one-act musical, with the upcoming reading marking the show's public debut.

Exploring the impact of speaking to therapists, Haley at Therapy sees the title character at her first session. Sharing her feelings, Haley is unsure how to behave or think about herself.

Lilli Cooper will star in the reading, previously playing Julie Nichols in the Broadway premiere of Tootsie alongside Santino Fontana. Denée Benton will also star, whose Broadway credits include Natasha Rostova in Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812, earning a Tony Award nomination.

Jay Armstrong Johnson, Audrey Cardwell, Lulu Fall, Rebecca Faulkenberry, Ashley Pérez Flanagan, Hunter Ryan Herdlicka, Grace McLean, James Scully, Liz Vice, Melissa Weyn and Lauren Zakrin complete the cast line-up. Haley at Therapy is by Josh Canfield, with musical arrangements by Taylor Peckham.
