Neal Huff & Danny Wolohan join the Broadway company of To Kill a Mockingbird

Aaron Sorkin's new take on To Kill a Mockingbird begins performances at Broadway's Shubert Theatre on November 1, 2018.

Tickets go on sale this Saturday, June 9, for the upcoming Broadway production of the Harper Lee classic, To Kill a Mockingbird, newly adapted for the stage by Aaron Sorkin, and producers have now announced complete casting. Neal Huff and Danny Wolohan take on the roles of Link Deas and Boo Radley, respectively, and join the previously announced company of Four-time Golden Globe and two-time Tony Award nominee Jeff Daniels (as Atticus Finch), three-time Tony Award nominee Celia Keenan-Bolger (as Scout), Will Pullen (as Jem), Gideon Glick (as Dill), Frederick Weller (as Bob Ewell), Gbenga Akinnagbe (as Tom Robinson), two-time Tony Award nominee Stark Sands (as Horace Gilmmer), Dakin Matthews (as Judge Taylor), Erin Wilhelmi (as Mayella Ewell), Phyllis Somerville (as Ms. Dubose), Liv Rooth (as Miss Stephanie), and Tony Award nominee LaTanya Richardson Jackson (as Calpurnia). Tony Award nominee Stephen McKinley Henderson has now departed the production.

Neal Huff has previously appeared on the Great White Way in the 2003 Broadway premiere of Take Me Out, the 1999 revival of The Lion in Winter and the 1995 revival of The Tempest. Danny Wolohan will be making his Broadway debut and has previously appeared off-Broadway in Lincoln Center Theater's Verité, and the Playwrights Horizons productions of Pocatello and The Patron Saint of Sea Monsters, and was last seen in the recent Public Theater production of The Low Road.

Directed by Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher, To Kill a Mockingbird begins previews at the Shubert Theatre on November 1, 2018, ahead of an official opening on December 13.

Synopsis: "Based on an event that occurred near her hometown of Monroeville, Alabama in the 1930s, Harper Lee's story of racial injustice and the destruction of childhood innocence centers on small-town lawyer and single father Atticus Finch (modeled after Lee's father, attorney Amasa Lee), his young daughter Scout, her older brother Jem, and their mysterious neighbor, the reclusive Arthur 'Boo' Radley. Written during the early stages of the Civil Rights Movement - at a time when Jim Crow laws were still in effect in many Southernstates - Lee's novel held a mirror to the culture of racism of the Deep South."

The creative team behind To Kill a Mockingbird features original music by Adam Guettel, scenic design by Miriam Buether, costume design by Ann Roth, lighting design by Jennifer Tipton, and sound design by Scott Lehrer.

To Kill a Mockingbird is produced on Broadway by Scott Rudin, Barry Diller, and Lincoln Center Theater. 

Jeff Daniels is best-known for his work on screen in movies such as "Terms of Endearment," "The Hours," "Steve Jobs," "Dumb and Dumber," and "The Martian." On Broadway, he received Tony Award nominations in 2016 for his role in the David Harrower play Blackbird, in which he starred opposite Michelle Williams, and in 2009 for God of Carnage.
