Primary Stages to restream ‘The Night Watcher’ in February

Charlayne Woodard reprises her acclaimed performance.

After a streamed revival of The Night Watcher in November 2020, Primary Stages have announced that the production will be available to watch again. Originally staged a decade ago, The Night Watcher will be streaming for a second time from February 17 - 28.

First staged in 2009, The Night Watcher is an autobiographical play written by Charlayne Woodard. Woodard stars in her production, documenting her life through the children that she has mentored. After a New York engagement, the production transferred to California, with Woodard winning a Critics Circle Award.
