The 2014 Tony Award nominations

The 2014 Tony Award Nominations were announced today at the Diamond Horseshoe at the Paramount Hotel in midtown Manhattan by Tony nominee Jonathan Groff and Elementary star Lucy Liu. Even the Awards host and Tony winner Hugh Jackman momentarily highjacked the nominations announcement and reminded the press and viewers to tune into the 68th annual ceremony on 08 Jun 2014 on CBS.

Amongst this year's crop of Broadway productions, the musical A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder leads with 10 nominations. The most nominated plays were the revivals of Twelfth Night and The Glass Menagerie, which received 7 nominations each.
