Paul Mescal

Paul Mescal stars as Stanley Kowalski in A Streetcar Named Desire off Broadway at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in spring 2025.

Mescal is best known for playing Connell Waldron on the TV show Normal People (BAFTA TV Award, Emmy nomination), Callum Patterson in the movie Aftersun (Oscar, BAFTA Film Award nominations), Harry in the film All of Us Strangers (BAFTA Film Award nomination), and Lucius Verus in Gladiator II.

Mescal has also appeared in multiple theatre productions in his home country of Ireland. In A Streetcar Named Desire, he reprises his performance from London's West End, where he won the Olivier Award for Best Actor.
